UK Salads pride themselves on a new warehouse which was built in 1996. In the vast warehouse they have a temperature controlled environment, weighing facilities and all produce is subject to inspections at any time. Delivery vehicles are all maintained to the highest standards, and all are refrigerated.
Combined heat and power systems
UK Salads have installed the highly regarded Nedalo Combined Heat and Power system (CHP). This reliable system ensures UK Salads perfect growing conditions are not comprimised. Equally important is the contribution the CHP systems make to reducing carbon dioxide emissions. Carbon dioxide emissions are 60% lower than normal systems, exhaust gases dramatically reduced, and sulphur dioxide emissions reduced to zero.
